The CQC (Care Quality Commission) formally recognises the GSF Accreditation that Beech Haven has been awarded with as a Nationally validated benchmark for high quality, person-centered, end-of-life care.
The GSF Model is widely cited by CQC as an independent indicator that a provider follows robust, evidence-based frameworks to manage palliative and end-of-life needs for each Individual within its care.
CQC explicitly recognises GSF accreditation and associative training as a positive marker of high quality care and best practice in palliative and advanced serious illness management. CQC use the GSF accreditation to support evidence of effective, responsive and well-led service provision during Inspections of Organisations.

Each Resident’s participation is logged for the twice-daily delivery, so that Resident’s well-being needs are met. At the End of each Month Individual Resident reviews are undertaken so that Activity planning can be updated, altered and adapted according to the changing needs and areas of enjoyment for each Individual”
“The Home has created a Photo Album Memorial Book to ensure that all Residents who have lived at the Home are cherished and remembered- long after they have died”

“The Home holds a Multi-Disciplinary Team Meeting (MDT) every 3 Months, to review Residents’ identified as higher risk, discuss new admissions and address any emerging concerns of required referrals”
