Beech Haven provides 28 Single Bedrooms, 8 of which have En-Suite Shower Rooms and 8 of which have En-Suite Toilets. All Rooms have Hand Wash Basins.
Beech Haven is constructed on 3 floors. The Basement comprises of the Kitchen, Laundry, Administrative Office, Staffroom and Store Rooms. All floors are connected by a Staircase and a Passenger Lift.
Beech Haven provides Nursing Care on the Ground Floor for 20 Residents in Single Rooms and a mixture of Residential and Nursing Care for 8 Residents on the First floor.
There are 3 Lounges, one on the Ground Floor, a Large Conservatory and one on the First Floor.
Beech Haven is fully equipped with a Fire Alarm and a Call Bell system. The Home has Hoists, Pressure-Relieving Equipment and other Moving and Handling Equipment to help in the transfer of Residents who have been Assessed as needing this Assistance. We have both Door and Bed Sensors as well as Sensor Mats.
There are 2 WC’s, one of which is Wheelchair Accessible on the Ground Floor, and two WC’s on the First Floor, one of which is Wheelchair Accessible. We have one Assisted Bath on the Ground Floor, and on the First Floor a Fully Equipped Wet Room.
We have a Large, Sunny, South-Facing Pretty Garden giving Private Sanctuary whilst being fully accessible for all to enjoy. The Garden is fully accessible for Wheelchairs.
Home Wider Services
A Menu is Home-Cooked and Homemade three times per day by our Chefs and the Menu displayed within the Home. We have Seasonal, Nutritious Meals and Homemade Snacks. The Menu is adapted for Resident needs including: Dietary, Gluten-Free and Dietary needs as linked to Faith. Residents are asked each day for their choice from a selection of Food and Drinks. Hot and Cold Drinks with Homemade snacks are provided three times per day or as needed or requested.

Laundry is collected from the Resident’s Rooms and Returned within approximately 24 hours Washed and Resident Clothing is Ironed. All clothing is labelled on Admission with our ‘Attach a Tag’ system.
A Hairdresser visits the Home as requested, and undertakes all aspects of Hairdressing for both our Male and Female Residents. A Chiropodist also visits the Home as requested and Personal Toiletries are ordered for Residents as required (these Services are not included within the Fees and are paid to the Operators at the time of the Service).
Housekeeping and Maintenance work throughout the week and weekend to attend to all of the needs of the Home and Residents.
